The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by over 400 points on Friday morning following optimism revolving around possible trade deals between the U.S. and China. The S&P 500 increased by 46.46 points or 1.58%, while the Nasdaq Composite gained 145.12 points or 1.83%.
The rally sent technology stocks higher during early morning trading sessions.

Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) rose by 1.21%.
Facebook, Inc. (NASDAQ: FB) increased by 2.88%.
Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) rose by 1.42%.
Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ: NFLX) shares gained 2.01%.
Notably, chipmaker stocks witnessed the largest growth during intraday trading sessions on Friday morning.
Micron Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: MU) shares increased by 3.09%.
Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMD) shares surged by 3.77%.
NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA) shares gained 2.69%.
Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) shares rose by 2.33%.
The uplifting news also sent Chinese-based stocks higher.
